Dáire Lawlor
University for the Creative Arts
Dáire is an artist who specialises in painting, predominantly in oils and gouache. She is inspired by nature, folklore, and the cyclical nature of life. Her interests are honed by a childhood spent in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where she grew up surrounded by nature and Ireland’s legends. Within her work, she explores the fragile tightrope between life and death, the relationship between us and our environment, and the balance we must maintain with the other creatures that inhabit the earth.
